I picked up my socks off the floor and there were 6 or 7 welly developed maggots in them. They were all like "Whatever you do, please don't throw us in the garbage can!"

A big storm came through and washed the sand off of an old trash burn pit in front of the old sewage outlet at coogee. I found many coins, including one "pre-decimal" penny. Penny is short for "pence." Total face value: $9.56. There were more that I couldn't dislodge from the creosote without damaging them.

Brass looks a lot like gold, but isn't.

I also found some marbles the day before the storm.
